□ On the solutions-front loved meeting Rebecca Percasky from Better Packaging Co. While she is not on Linkedin she on Instagram □ □□ I randomly sparked up conversation with South African Social Entrepreneur Catherine Constantinides simply because of the beautiful skirt she was wearing. She’s coming to our next Impact Hustlers Meet up on the 21st June so she can meet some of our brilliant innovators. □ Back at the Impact Hustlers booth, the force of nature Georgina McGivern from The Camden Clean Air Initiative dropped by and told us about their bold plans for local action including a big Green Festival later this year. Finally Pascal Asselin talked about how MORFO leverage tech to scale good with their seed pods - a nature-based solution designed for large-scale rainforest restoration. We then talked about tech for good as an end to a means or a means to an end with Kate Mullord, Cyril Garcia and Kevin Tayebaly. □ Time then for panel #1 where Katie Critchlow from NatureMetrics kicked us off with a brilliant keynote about how to solve capitalism with capitalism using green gold. □The most popular talk that day was by Timothée Parrique who talks of about needing a period of #degrowth as a means to a steady-state economy. She also works with founders who are developing their thought-leadership and explained the difference between a speech and a keynote is the difference between a textbook and a novel! Please check her out. Turns out she is a moderator, MC and keynote speaker which would be why! □ She specialises in climate and sustainability and D&I events. I didn’t know Lovelda Vincenzi who moderated this panel but she absolutely shone. How do you include a climate change narrative across all stories - do you have climate journalists sit in every news vertical or train all journalists to better understand how climate change impacts their stories? □♀️ The first talk I went to on Day 2 was about the power of the media.
